NIXNUT, a family story

More than ten years ago we, two sisters, started with a tiny collection. Our goal: premium quality, timeless designs, and the most comfortable fabrics. We grew from an attic room to an office, from doing everything ourselves to working with a great team. Today, the brand is worn worldwide. Despite its growth, our family business doesn't aim to be the biggest. We believe in quality over quantity, Fair Trade craftsmanship over mass production and we collaborate with stores that are as passionate about their work as we are about Nixnut

The brand was born from a close bond; two sisters who create, dream, and build together. Each garment is designed by them with passion and attention to detail.

The clothing is made by family businesses in Portugal. There, the sewing, stitching, and finishing are carefully executed. This craftsmanship is passed down from generation to generation.


Worn by family .
After production these clothes end up in families' homes: in drawers, on coat racks and packed away in suitcases on vacation. They are part of everyday family life. Worn with joy and comfort around the world. From first, small steps to big adventures.


Passed down by family .
Our clothing is passed down from family to family because of their premium quality. From siblings to nieces and nephews, from friend to friend. And that completes the sustainable cycle.
